What's this?

No it's not. It's to provide a check and balance, not to be his parents and

get him to behave the way they want. They're certainly free to call him out and criticize his behavior, but ultimately their job is to put forth legislation. If they don't like what he did with DACA, they can put forth legislation they think is appropriate. If they think his tax plan is too kind to the 1%, they can add back the top rate and/or put forth a tax plan they feel is best. If they don't like his criticism on health care, they can put forth a proposal that actually is worth a chit and gets the votes to pass. If they want to reach across the aisle for bipartisan support (I would love to see it, but I think Chuck and Nancy are FOS when they claim they'll work with the GOP), these tweets and behavior don't stop them from doing it. And on and on.

Trump is doing a piss poor job of using the bully pulpit in terms of getting support and his agenda through, but ultimately that doesn't stop Corker & Co. from doing any of that. This Congress has been a miserable failure to this point IMO, and while they're busy pointing that finger at Trump, they are forgetting the three pointing back at them.
